Open Data Umarells

Sono di Bologna, quindi tocca spiegare la terza parola del titolo. Umarell è, in base alla definzione, un pensionato che per occupare le giornate si attiva per tenere sotto controllo il territorio. Come tutti i bolognesi sanno, appena qualcuno apre un cantiere per un anche minimo lavoro stradale, gli umarells arrivano a fiotti. Un po' come gli Zombie. Oppure appostandosi giusto fuori l'aeroporto per osservare gli arrivi e le partenze.
Gli umarells sono da un lato un monitoraggio costante delle attività, e dall'altro una garanzia di qualità.
Ecco, per gestire il problema della qualità dei dati pubblicati dalle amministrazioni sarebbe ora di iniziare a promuovere una nuova generazione di umarells. Umarells digitali di qualsiasi età (si, io vivo in attesa della pensione per poter vivere la vera vita da umarell :P ) che danno un feedback alle amministrazioni sottolineando quei feedback con delle valutazioni classiche: "si potrebbe", "ma si può fare meglio", "ai miei tempi".

I'm from Bologna, so I have to explain the third word in the title. Umarell is, by definition, a retired man or woman who spends the days keeping the territory under control. Like every other Bologna citizen knows, every time the administration opens a roadwork for the smallest thing, the umarells arrive in hoards. Like zombies. Or they go just outside the airport area to watch the planes landing and taking off.
The umarells are, in the end, a monitoring system for the physical activities of the administration and, on the other side, a guarantee for the quality (or at least for the absence of lack thereof). So, to manage the quality of the published data, it would be time to start promoting a new generation of umarells. Digital umarells of any age (yes, I live waiting to retire and to become a real umarell :P) that give a feedback to the administration weighing into those feedbacks with the classics: "you could...", "but you could do it better...", "in my days..."
