News about RER
Region Emilia Romagna, following Piedmont and using the same infrastructure (a personalized Joomla installment) has opened up some data. The data is available at http://dati.emilia-romagna.it/, where the administration is going to publish more and more data and hopefully interesting meta-governmental data that is so common in the States but is so difficult to obtain in Europe...

America's next generation entrepreneurs
This time nothing strictly technological but more cultural.
With the project http://ventureforamerica.org/, America once again displays its knowledge of the real domino effects. Brown University and enterpreneurs give groups of US grads the possibility to have a small version of an MBA and get their hands dirty in companies in the trenches of start-ups settled in difficult cities (Detroit, Providence, New Orleans) in order to make them grow, in two years, to create more work in those cities. The best grads will then receive 100k$ to create their own startups.That's what I would call Domino Effect. Why don't we have such wonderful actions in euroland, too?
